- Breakfast Group meets once a month. Small group of women gather at a local restaurant for a meal, fellowship and discussion.
- United Methodist Women meet at 10 a.m. the first Thursday each month September - June. Open to all women. Individual circles
meet monthly at various times and locations. New members are welcome.
- Book Chat meets in the Library at 1:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.
- Breakfast Group meets second and fourth Saturday of the month at a local restaurant, where they gather for a meal, fellowship and
book discussion.
- United Methodist Men have a monthly general dinner meeting with a program.
- Bible Studies led by clergy and lay teachers.
- Small group meetings -
Several small nurturing groups of eight to twelve people meet on a regular basis in homes. Their purpose is to share their joys and
concerns and to discuss an agreed upon topic. It might be a study of a specific book, a study of a specific topic, a discussion on
how to apply the sermon to their daily lives, etc. New nurturing groups are formed as people express an interest in being a part of a
nurturing group.
- Vintage Car Show held annually. Planning meetings meet on a monthly basis.
All are welcome.
- Committee leadership and membership -
Support LAUMC by serving on a committee. Some of the committees include
Communications, Committee on Membership & Evangelism, Race & Religion,
Status & Role of Women, Finance, Trustees and Pastor Parish Relations Committee
- The Mature Years Group meets for a noon potluck and to hear a speaker the
second Wednesday of each month in the Lounge.Everyone is invited. There is a
field trip the fourth Wednesday of most months.
