QUESTIONS

MISSION STATEMENT:

To complement the efforts  of the ministerial staff and other groups within the church by initiating and supporting programs which enhance the physical, spiritual and emotional health and wholeness of the members of our congregation and the greater community.

The Caring and Health Ministries Committee, headed by Lenore Cullman, our Parish Nurse, is involved in helping with compassionate caring of our congregation.  For assistance or to volunteer or just for information on any of the items below, just CLICK HERE.

GOALS OF THE COMMITTEE

1.  Serves as an advisory group to the Parish Nurse and Parish Visitation program.

2.  Sponsor an annual Health Fair for the church and community.

3.  Support the Prayer Chain and Prayer Shawl ministry of our church.

4.  Plan memorial receptions to honor members of our church family, as needed.

5.  Initiate and support appropriate educational programs.

6.  Send reassuring cards and messages to those in need of comfort.

7.  Reach out to others as individuals in a "caring church."
